Business Head - Fire Safety Equipment and Systems
Location: Mumbai, India
Company Overview:
As a leader in the fire safety industry for over four decades, our company specializes in the manufacturing of innovative firefighting equipment and auto detection cum suppression systems. With a significant presence in both domestic and international markets, especially in the Middle East, we aim to expand our business from INR 500 Crores to INR 1000 Crores within the next three years. We are seeking a visionary Business Head to lead this ambitious growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve aggressive growth targets in B2G, B2C, and B2B sectors, with a focus on expanding our footprint in domestic and international markets, particularly the Middle East.
Business Development: Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, with a strong emphasis on exports to oil and gas customers in the Middle East. Spearhead initiatives to significantly grow business revenue in targeted sectors.
Market Penetration and Expansion: Drive the expansion of the company's market share in existing territories and explore new markets with potential for high-value contracts and partnerships.
Team Leadership and Development: Lead, inspire, and manage a dynamic sales team capable of achieving and exceeding sales targets. Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
A minimum of 15+ years of experience in sales, with a proven track record in domestic B2G, B2C, and B2B sales, especially with experience in exports to the Middle East in the oil and gas sector.
Demonstrated experience in managing businesses or divisions with a turnover of 200+ crores.
Engineering degree required; MBA preferred.
Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and the ability to crack big deals.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead by example and foster a team-oriented environment.
Experience in the fire safety equipment industry is highly desirable.
Must be willing to travel frequently (40-50% of the time) to meet business objectives.
