Our travel platform offers a personalized experience for travelers and offers many industry-first features, e.g., gamification of travel where employees get rewarded when they make cost conscious choices. Our expense platform is a highly flexible, yet intuitive platform for employees which takes away the pain filing expenses and the anxiety in tracking expense reimbursement

    We have terrific momentum, and have been recognised by Nasscom with their Emerge50 award. We raised Series C in March 2022, led by Tiger Global and Dharana Capital. We need you to help us build the future of T&E.

    As a Tech Lead, you will lead a team of 4 to 6 people and owning the deliverables of one or two modules of our flagship product.

    You will be responsible for:

    • Design, architect and build the mobile and web version of our flagship product.
    • Leading a Team of 4 to 6 people and responsible for getting work done from the team.
    • To liaise with the product manager and technical architect to explore and suggest
    • appropriate technical solutions to achieve the required product features as well as monitoring technical progress against plans. While safeguarding functionality, scalability and performance
    • Actively participate in code reviews to build robust applications and prototypes.
    • Ensure high scalability and performance of the platform.
    • Build proof of concepts and early prototypes systems and scaling it to production.
    • Advocate for good, clean, well-documented and performing code; define and follow standards and best practices for front-end development.

    We want you if you have..

    • Experience in full-stack development, including front-end, API, and database/storage layers.
    • Proven work experience in a product-based company and have experience in both front end, API and the database/storage layer.
    • Strong skills in Core Python, and frameworks such as Flask, Django, and FastAPI.
    • Hands on in PHP, MySQL, CSS, HTML5, jQuery, JavaScript, AJAX, Bootstrap, Web Services, JSON.
    • Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers.
    • Design, code, test, debug, and document software according to functional requirements
    • Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges.
    • Provide cost-optimized solutions and approaches while addressing scalability and performance concerns.
    • Integration of data storage solutions may include databases, key-value stores, blob stores, etc.
    • Extensive experience with AWS, particularly in CDK, Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway, and ECS.
    • Extensive experience in message queue systems, including Celery, RabbitMQ, and Kafka.

    Good to Have:

    • Strong skills in Golang/Node.Js and experience in API chaining or wrapper development.
    • Experience in building analytics or reporting engines is a plus
