    Role Overview: Senior Accountant

    We are seeking a dedicated Senior Accountant to join our team on-site at Canara Cargo Services Pvt. Ltd. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing financial transactions, analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and ensuring adherence to accounting standards and regulations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee day-to-day financial transactions and accounting activities.
    • Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
    • Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports.
    • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial processes.
    • Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
    • Participate in audits and facilitate responses to audit inquiries.
    • Mentor and support junior accounting staff as needed.

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Solid understanding of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
    • Proven experience in financial management, transaction processing, and financial analysis.
    • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, etc.).
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
    • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
    • Professional certification such as CA, CPA, or CMA is a plus.
