    Description

    Responsibilities:
    • Perform various accounting tasks such as booking, reconciling, and reporting financial activity.
    • Analyze financial data to prepare entries related to fixed assets, payroll, reserves, and more
    • Verify accounting and system reports for accuracy and completeness.
    • Rectify accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
    • Meet all assigned financial closing and reporting deadlines.
    • Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close.
    • Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
    • Prepare and reconcile monthly inventory roll forward
    • Reconcile intercompany transactions
    • Assist in implementing a new ERP system
    • Review and finalize bank reconciliation
    • Aid in creating PBC list for year-end audits.
    • Assist in annual budget preparation and revisions.
    • Maintain accurate accounting records, both electronically and in hard copy.
    • Identify areas for process enhancement and efficiency.
    • Address technical accounting matters.
    • Document policies, procedures, and workflows for assigned responsibilities.
    • Perform other Ad Hoc tasks.
    Qualification and Skills :
    • Qualified CA in accounting required
    • 5 years of practical accounting experience
    • Blend of public audit and private experience advantageous
    • Minimum 23 Years of experience with Big 4 firm beneficial.
    • Familiarity with SAP/any other Accounting Software advantageous
    • Proficient in month-end close and journal entry process
    • Strong analytical and planning skills with a solid accounting background
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office
    • Advanced Excel knowledge including formulas & macros
