    Position Overview:


    The Business Development Director at Grassdoor for AVEVA PI is responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding the customer base for AVEVA's industry-leading data management and analytics platform.

    As a key member of the sales leadership team, you will develop and execute strategic plans to identify and pursue new business opportunities, build relationships with key accounts and partners, and position AVEVA PI as the premier solution for industrial data management.

    The remuneration and incentive structure for this position is designed to attract and retain top talent while rewarding performance. The remuneration includes a base salary, bonuses, and potentially stock options based on individual and company performance.


    Key Responsibilities:


    Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share goals for AVEVA PI.Identify and qualify new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and lead generation activities.

    Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to contract negotiation and close, collaborating with pre-sales, solution architects, and delivery teams as neededBuild and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives, key decision-makers, and influencers at target accounts and partnersRepresent AVEVA at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings to showcase AVEVA PI capabilities and value propositionProvide updated sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance metrics to leadershipCollaborate with marketing to develop compelling content, campaigns, and events to drive awareness and demand for AVEVA PIMentor and coach sales team members to develop their skills and enable them to effectively sell AVEVA PI


    Qualifications:


    10+ years of experience in enterprise software sales, with a proven track record of consistently exceeding quarterly & annual quotas.

    Strong India CXO relationships across key industry verticals such as chemicals, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, oil & gas, and energy & mining.

    Deep understanding of the industrial automation, chemical, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, and/or energy sectors and the data management challenges faced by customers in these industriesFamiliarity with AVEVA PI and its capabilities, or the ability to quickly learn and articulate the value propositionStrong business acumen and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersExcellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skillsAbility to travel extensively across India to meet with potential and existing customers and partners
