    Description

    To assist in obtaining ledgers, ledger scrutiny, computation of tax liability basis ledgers extracted, getting reviewed, seeking approvals and getting the payments done

    Essential Functions / Main Responsibilities

    • Assisting statutory audits and ensuring audits are closed within agreed date.
    • financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, and yearly analysis),
    • Co-ordination with various teams,
    • Co-ordination with GL accountants (internal shared service team) to ensure quality of work
    • Preparation & Filing of GST Returns (GSTR6, GSTR-3B, GSTR-1)
    • GST Annual Return & Audit (GSTR9 & 9c), GST Refunds filling.
    • Posting the Accounting entries - GST Payments and Input/Output Reco entries. Revenue Reconciliation etc.
    • GST Audit query and GST Audit data preparation etc.

    Candidate Profile

    • Bachelor degree in Commerce.
    • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in in compliances and GST and in indirect taxation.
    • Semi-qualified CA / Cs or CWA.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Ability to build strong strategic relationships.
    • Strong attention to detail.
    • Self-starter, sense of urgency, and works well under pressure.
    • Strong attention to detail.
    • Analysis skills
    • Prior experience in people management will be an added advantage.
    • Prior experience in SAGE or any other accounting ERP will be an added advantage.
