    About the job

    The Research Analyst is an established market analyst with high ownership of work and end-to-end fulfilment of Growth partnership service deliverable projects. As well as leading Growth Opportunity Analytics project fulfilment, there will be increasing involvement and interactive Growth Opportunity Analytics deliverables such as client presentations, Analyst Briefingss, Mover Shaker interviews etc., as well as research involvement in CSDs and Growth Advisory projects. The main objective is to increase market sector expertise and client interaction with a focus on analyzing markets and identifying growth opportunities.

    Responsibilities

    Domain Expertise Become a thought leader in the team, delivering value via strategic research, client engagement, global press, and social media outreach.

    Intellectual Property and Strategic Evaluation Develop actionable, strategic, insightful, up-to-date market intelligence based on primary and secondary market research on the technologies, and services that the healthcare life sciences industry sells to the enterprise and consumer markets.

    Business Development Maintain business relationships with global technology vendors by regularly participating in briefings and working under the guidance of program/practice area leader to conduct business needs analysis for clients.

    Customized Engagement Proactively contribute to healthcare life sciences client service deliverable projects under the guidance of senior team members and utilise defined research and analytical practices in a team-focused environment"

    Manage key stakeholders by sector/practice area to ensure expectations are met/exceeded, timelines are heeded

    Develop excellent quality content

    Work with a global team of experts to create a powerful customer experience

    Qualifications

    A relevant university degree (BA, BE, BS) in engineering, science, business administration, sociology, journalism, marketing, market intelligence, market research or technology.

    Minimum 3-5 years of analyst/consulting working experience within a healthcare research and/or advisory services business environment.

    The ability to research and write a coherent story on healthcare lifesciences topics in grammatically correct English is critical.

    A foundational understanding of consulting/research/investigative journalism methodologies and business modelling (primary/secondary research, linear story development).

    A foundational understanding of the Healthcare, Digital Health or Medical Technologies industry, such as industry structure, operational practices, business functionalities, and competitive landscapes.

    Desire, curiosity, and enthusiasm to build your expertise in the healthcare lifesciences domain to become a respected thought leader in the eyes of global technology vendors.

    The ability to network to create new vendor relationships and to proactively manage ongoing relationships to stay relevant to technology vendors.

    Enthusiasm for supporting business development initiatives that benefit the entire team.

    An analytical thought process, with outstanding written and verbal communication skills and business level fluency in English.

    The desire to learn public presentation skills in front of an audience and a video camera.

    Confidence to present your work to a group of peers or a client and defend your analysis in a calm and professional manner.

    A team player who views team collaboration as an important path to professional development.

    Desirable

    A relevant post graduate qualification (MBA) or equivalent experience, e.g.: Market intelligence, market research analyst, consulting, or journalism focused on business issues, advisory services, and/or consulting.

    A foundational understanding of key issues in two or more of the following areas:

    Pharmaceuticals/Biotech

    Clinical Diagnostics

    Digital Health

    Medical Technologies

    Applications of artificial intelligence, machine learning, cloud, big data analytics to healthcare industry"

    Are Well-organized and detail-oriented

    Take ownership to work independently with remote supervision

    Can multi-task and meet tight deadlines

    Are disciplined and adhere to high-quality standards

    Is a strategic thinker; understands how operational activities are vital in supporting the overall strategy of the business
