    Total Experience required years

    Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success in providing services related to internal controls related to financial reporting, compliance and operational processes, including business process and IT management controls, which includes a track record of success with managing the following:

  • Candidates must have knowledge on internal audit, ICFR testing, SOX compliance and risk assessment
  • Understanding financial reporting, business and information technology risks, processes, and control industry standards, risk management practices and techniques, and corporate governance regulations and requirements;
  • Understanding current and emerging technologies which may include: SAP, Workday, Power BI, data manipulation and visualization tools;
  • Understanding core risks, processes and internal controls related to financial reporting and non-financial reporting, both manual and IT; and,
  • Understanding relevant subject matter specialization to support the development of thought leadership.
  • Providing day-to-day oversight support for the ICFR team;
  • Leading internal control scoping, risk assessments, walkthroughs with process owners, testing of design and operating effectiveness, evaluations SSAE 16 reports, assessing deficiencies, and providing process owners with guidance on remediation plans and consulting related to control gaps and control readiness for new business processes and system implementations;
  • Identifying key risks and controls, recommend improved controls, perform risk assessments and identify and assess configuration of controls in financial reporting related business processes as well as in IT infrastructures, security, change management, operations and program development;
  • Influencing in highly ambiguous environments and collaborating through use of effective oral and written communication skills;
  • Taking responsibility for the quality of the team's work products and addresses the needs of the client, the Firm and other stakeholders; and,
  • Managing and coaching staff as they perform assessments to evaluate internal controls, ITGCs, SOD, and execute internal control assessment procedures.
