Our journey

We raised $2 mn at an idea stage in December 2019 from Sequoia Capital's Surge program, and marquee investors like Naveen Tewari (Founder, InMobi Group), and Kunal Shah (Founder, CRED).

Role

Responsibilities:


  • The role will have overall leadership of the finance function, managing a team that takes care of reporting, payables and receivables, audits, statutory payments, compliances, direct and indirect taxation, payroll, insurance, etc.
  • We have entities in multiple geographies (Singapore, India, and UAE) and multiple business verticals (tech platform, funds, and ecommerce). This role will manage them and ensure we are compliant with taxation, filing, and other requirements in each geography and for each vertical.
  • We run an efficient business operation. This role will be responsible for increasing ROI on all nonsalary spends and making recommendations on cost optimization.
  • We believe in being bestinclass and reliable partners for all stakeholders. This role will implement SOPs and processes that ensure fast resolution of all requests, zerodefect reporting, and suitable internal and external escalations.

Requirements:


  • Chartered Accountant
  • Exposure to NBFCs either in the internal finance function or as a partner is highly preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience in an organization that has entities in multiple geographies is highly preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience in managing teams, generating highquality reports for senior management, and good written and verbal communication skills.
