- Have a strong experience in designing low and medium voltage switch gears. Having arc resistant switch-gears would be an added advantage.
- To have hands-on experience in Design calculations, structural and thermal analysis. Proficiency in selecting electrical breakers/components and preparing BOMs.
- Possess experience in material selection to meet safety, functional and cost requirements.
- Have good awareness of arc resistant regulatory standards and test requirements.
- Have Excellent Knowledge on North American standards like UL, NFPA, NEMA, ANSI/ASME Y 14.1.
- Have B. Tech/M. Tech/Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Have 10 plus years of experience in the design of electrical control panels, MV switch gear panels, motor control center (MCC), and power control center (PCC) panels.
- Have comprehensive understanding of cable sizing, bus bar sizing, cable routing, and related areas.
- Hold 8 years or more in Electrical Product Design for Manufacturing (OEM). This is a Mandatory requirement.
- Have 3D CAD skills-Specifically SolidWorks or Inventor.
- Demonstrated knowledge of materials and manufacturing methods. Exposure to FAT would be an added advantage.
- Provide mentorship and performance assessments on a regular basis, assign work effectively, and make sure that all activities comply with time constraints and corporate best practices.
- Ensure that the team has a clear path for professional development and advancement by expanding their technical and non-technical skill set.
- Make sure resources are used wisely and the budget is properly managed to maximize deliverable success.
- Assure efficient team profiling through proactive talent acquisition, development, and succession planning.
- Have In-depth understanding of organizational objectives, with keen insights into business trends and market conditions.
- Have ability to deliver on tight schedules and under pressure.
- Flexibility for occasional international travel, often on short notice.
