    Location: Bangalore, 3 days in office.

    Position Summary:

    We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager with a proven track record in innovative platform offerings to lead our engineering team. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive the development and implementation of our groundbreaking products. As the Engineering Manager, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to define, plan, and execute our product strategy, ensuring the highest levels of quality, performance, and scalability.

    About Us : Lab45 is the research and innovation arm of Wipro. We work on building products and solutions that solve complex requirements of enterprise customers.

    Position Summary: We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager with a proven track record in innovative platform offerings to lead our engineering team.

    This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive the development and implementation of our groundbreaking products. As the Engineering Manager, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to define, plan, and execute our product strategy, ensuring the highest levels of quality, performance, and scalability.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide technical leadership and direction for the development of innovative platform offerings, including architecture, design, and implementation.
    • Manage and mentor a team of engineers, setting clear expectations, goals, and performance metrics.
    • Work closely with Product Management, Design, and other cross-functional teams to define product requirements and drive the product development lifecycle.
    • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and engineering best practices. Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality, scalable, and reliable products by managing resources, priorities, and project timelines.
    • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture, design specifications, and test plans.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the development process.
    • Drive the recruitment, onboarding, and professional development of engineering talent.
    • Monitor and evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and industry best practices to continuously improve engineering processes and products.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
    • A minimum of 8 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role. Demonstrated experience in designing, building, and deploying innovative platform offerings.
    • Strong technical expertise in software development methodologies, tools, and technologies. Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
    • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and levels.
    • Proven track record of managing and delivering complex projects on time and within budget. Experience in Agile or Scrum methodologies and familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
    • Knowledge of cloud computing, microservices architecture, and containerization technologies is a plus.
