    Position Overview: Team Lead – Mechanical Design

    Kindly note that, Experience in 'Transformer Industry' a must need to shortlist the candidature.

    As strategic partner, this position is responsible for leading the Mechanical Design Team in Engineering Function to achieve organizational key business goals and objective.

    This role includes but is not limited to the development and execution of a strategy to create joint value propositions.

    1. Project Management: Responsible for managing projects within the mechanical design department. This includes planning project timelines, allocating resources effectively, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
    2. Technical Expertise: A Team Lead in Mechanical Design should possess a strong technical background in mechanical engineering and design principles. You'll be expected to provide technical guidance to your team members, troubleshoot design problems, and ensure that designs meet all relevant specifications and standards.
    3. Collaboration: Effective collaboration is key to success in this role. Require working closely with other departments such as sales & marketing, manufacturing, and quality assurance to ensure that designs are feasible and can be effectively implemented.
    4. Mentorship and Development: Team leader, responsible for the professional development of your team members. This involves providing training and mentorship, identifying areas for improvement, and helping team members to grow and develop their skills.
    5. Quality Assurance: Ensuring the quality of mechanical designs is another important aspect of the role. You'll need to establish and enforce quality standards, conduct design reviews, and implement processes to identify and address any quality issues that arise.

    QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES & WORK CONDITIONS

    • Engineering Degree (BE/B.Tech) in Electrical or Mechanical or equivalent degree.
    • Masters in Engineering or Business Administration is preferable.
    • Experience in Transformer Industry.
    • 15 to 20 years of experience in related field/transformer Industry.
