    Job Title: Store Assistant

    Employment Type: Full- time

    Location: Nungambakkam, Chennai

    Work Schedule: Monday to Sunday (one day off will be given on a week day), 10 AM to 7 PM

    Responsibilities:

     Attending to customers promptly and professionally, and upselling where possible

     Billing and DSR reports as required

     Responsibility for cash received and deposits

     Handling inwards that comes in from the suppliers

     Receiving courier and checking with invoice - quantity and quality

     Tagging products with barcodes

     Ensuring all stock is in good condition for sales, including packaging

     Keeping all stock in an organised manner in stock room, product wise and supplier wise

     Communicating on WhatsApp groups immediately as required, to send and receive information

     Maintaining all requirements for packing courier,

     Assisting with stock check

     Maintaining ambience of store, lights, ac, cleanliness

     Ensuring good visual merchandising of the store, ensure all are goods are on display

     Gift wrapping for clients

     Packing for exhibitions

     Replacing products once sold on the shelf

     Informing management immediately if any stock is missing or damaged

     Informing management about customer complaints and other feedback immediately

     Helping store manager with any ancillary work such as printing, filing etc.

     Checking on price tags and barcodes

     Helping clients carry big parcels

    Qualifications & Skill Requirements:

    ● Minimum of 6 months experience in a similar role

    ● Excellent communication skills (English and Tamil)
