RESPONSIBILITYAUTHORITY ANDCOMPETENCE
TheOperations Manager is responsible for supervision and management oftrainees workmen staff & contract laborers facilitatinginterdepartmental communication and allocating tasks (daily weekly& monthly) and resources as needed to efficiently andeffectively run the manufacturing operations at the One Stop Center.
Manages the maintenance of the buildings grounds equipment andfacilities adhering to pertinent rules regulations & locallaws.Thespecific duties of an Operations Manager include formulatingstrategy improving performance production planning &control procuring material and resources and securingcompliance.
PRIMARYDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provideleadership for the successful operation of the manufacturing plantincluding: Production quality controlmaintenance and receiving. Establish andreview production schedules for all manufacturing departments toensure orders are filled on time while operating at the highestefficiency possible Motivate Employees tomaintain production and quality levels by establishing measures oftracking performance and setting individual employee and teamgoals Monitor processes operation expensesand research ways to cut waste improve efficiencies and enhanceproductivity while maintaining productquality Work closely with Quality Assurancepersonnel to review product consistency in order to determine areasof improvement Work with product development personnel to developnew products and strategies Maintainefficient Inventory levels to meet daily productions needs and costrequirements Analyze work forcerequirements Conduct performance appraisalsand provide coaching and guidance to all manufacturing employeesensuring all policies and procedures are beingfollowed Monitor equipment to ensure that itis meticulously cared for and always in good working order to avoidlapses inproduction
ProductionPlanning & Control Overallresponsibility for execution of the job onschedule Liaison / Correspondence with salespurchase and customer / consultant to ensure smoothexecution Assigning planning engineer foreach project and assigning job number foridentificationPreparationofadetailedprocessplanandotherdocumentsasperprocedureandreviewandgetapprovals of the same Responsible forarranging a kick off meeting with the functional heads / inchargesproduction quality assurance and purchase to handover /communicatethe scope of work delivery and any other relevant informationregarding the project Preparation of monthlydelay bar charts and analysis of reasons for delay for submissionto the Director / Management Analysis of thedelay bar charts and take corrective / preventive actions to ensuretimely delivery ofequipment
