We are looking for a driven and experienced Cloud Sales Business Development Manager to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud technologies and services, along with a proven track record of driving sales in the cloud computing industry.
As a Cloud Sales BDM, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth through the sale of cloud solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities in the cloud computing market.
Conduct market research to understand customer needs and preferences.
Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop targeted lead generation campaigns.
Create and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, tracking progress and performance.
Present cloud solutions to prospective clients, highlighting the value proposition and benefits.
Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
Understand client requirements and propose customized cloud solutions to meet their business objectives.
Act as a trusted advisor, providing guidance and support throughout the sales process.
Work closely with technical teams to understand product capabilities and limitations.
Collaborate on solution design and proposal development to address client needs effectively.
Provide feedback from clients to inform product development and enhancements.
Lead contract negotiations, ensuring terms are favorable and aligned with business objectives.
Close sales deals in a timely manner, meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
Ensure smooth handover to implementation and support teams post-sale.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Proven track record of success in cloud sales or business development roles.
In-depth knowledge of cloud technologies, platforms, and services (e.g., IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, public, private, hybrid clouds).Strong understanding of sales principles and techniques, with excellent negotiation skills.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners at all levels.Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Results-oriented with a focus on driving revenue growth.
