    Job Brief

    We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior IT Manager to join one of our prestigious client's team in Bangalore. As a Senior IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the organization's IT operations, ensuring the effective implementation of IT policies and best practices, and identifying technologies to drive growth and streamline processes. Your role will involve managing budgets, and vendor relationships, and ensuring the security and uptime of our IT infrastructure.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and manage the annual IT budget to ensure cost-effective implementation.
    • Create and implement the organization's IT policies and best practices.
    • Identify and recommend technologies to drive growth and streamline processes.
    • Implement innovative troubleshooting methods to reduce downtime and lower repair costs.
    • Collaborate with other management members to determine growth needs and resource planning.
    • Manage procurement and vendor relationships.
    • Plan, organize, control, and evaluate IT and electronic data operations.
    • Ensure the IT infrastructure supports the needs of the business.
    • Install and maintain networks, systems, and peripherals as per approved specifications.
    • Establish and maintain a robust security and backup system.
    • Ensure the security of data, email, network access, and backup systems.
    • Maintain uptime of system and network infrastructure.
    • Conduct routine evaluations/audits of network and data security.
    • Run a helpdesk operation to attend to user complaints.
    • Maintain safe custody of the company's software and hardware.
    • Utilize strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and web application firewall (WAF) management.
    • Manage inventory of systems, networking equipment, peripherals, printers, software, and hardware components.
    • Create and administer disaster plans.
    • Prepare and maintain necessary documents in accordance with QMS.
    • Provide direction for IT team members and opportunities for training and teamwork skills development.
    • Run routine system operations reports and share them with management.
    • Demonstrate hands-on experience with remote support/implementation and maintenance.
    • Possess knowledge of operating systems (e.g., Windows 10/11), Microsoft Exchange systems (e.g., MS Exchange 2019, M365), web server technology (e.g., Internet Information Services), database technology (e.g., SQL Server), server operating systems (e.g., Windows 2016/2019), virtual environments (Hypervisor and VMware), and firewall management.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
    • 10 to 15+ years of experience in IT management roles.
    • Strong leadership and communication skills.
    • Proven ability to manage budgets and vendor relationships.
    • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
    • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCNA, MCSE) are a plus.
