    Job Description

    The firm is strengthening its team by recruiting a Managing Associate within the IPR division on retainership basis.


    A Patent Filing Managing Associate reports to a Partner. Stratjuris is Looking for people who are passionate about learning various procedures relating to Filing and Maintenance of Patent, Trademarks, Designs and Copyrights.

    The Candidate will be recruited on Probation for three months wherein he/she will be Trained on Various Aspects of Patents and other Intellectual Property Rights. Thereafter the Retainership may be confirmed, based on the performance during probation period.

    Broad outline of responsibilities of the Retainer are as follows:

    1. Filing of Domestic Patent, Trademark, Copyright and Design Applications using electronic module
    2. Filing of International Patent, Trademark, Copyright and Design Applications via Overseas Associates
    3. Understanding of International Filing Conventions like PCT, Madrid Protocol, Hague System.
    4. Compliance to various Procedures under the Patent, Trademark, Design and Copyright Laws
    5. Maintenance of electronic portal for Intellectual Property Cases
    6. Writing Articles for various provisions under the IP Laws
    7. Drafting and Sending Communication memos to Overseas and Domestic Clients
    8. Team handling & training to juniors.


    Requirements

    Experience

    Candidate may have 1 to 3 Years of relevant Experience in order qualify for Interview call for this position.

    Qualification

    The Candidate should be a qualified Lawyer (LL.B) or should have attained relevant experience in a Law Firm set up

    Location

    The Position requires the Candidate to operate out of Stratjuris office in Baner at Pune.

    Retainership

    All recruitment are on Retainership basis and there is no Employer-Employee relationship. A fixed amount of Retainership fee is provided on a monthly basis after deducting Tax at Source @ 10%.

    Working Hours and Leaves

    Working Hours of the firm are 9.30 am to 6.30 pm (Monday to Friday)
