    As part of Global Business Services (GBS) Commercial Operations (GCO), the Commercial Reporting & Analytics (CRA) team delivers operational reporting and analytics services to commercial business units. Collaborating closely with various Commercial Insight and Analytics teams, the goal is to evolve capabilities in alignment with business requirements.

    Within the next couple of years, the team aims to internalize reporting, analytics, and insight capabilities from external service providers for more ownership and accountability over data and analytics, fostering business growth efficiently and cost-effectively.

    Position Overview:

    We are looking for an Analytics & Insights - Senior Manager proficient in managing a diverse team of Analytics Leads, Subject Matter Experts, and Developers. This role is pivotal in establishing a sustainable delivery model and driving project success by soliciting and implementing stakeholder feedback, defining a 2-year roadmap, and aligning resources accordingly. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Analytics, Data Science, and Pharma Commercial domain, with experience leading high-visibility large-scale projects.

    ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Overseeing the delivery and execution of analytics activities and digital marketing initiatives as the GCO Analytics Delivery Lead.
  • Managing a matrix organization of delivery leads with Analytics experts reporting to them.
  • Ensuring the needs of Analytics teams are met for Learning & Development, individual concerns, and growth environments.
  • Mentoring the team for successful new projects delivery, Future-of-Work initiatives, and maintaining ongoing projects.
  • Leading process optimization efforts to enhance efficiency and cost savings.
  • Collaborating with business partners and establishing strong relationships.
  • Staying updated on advanced analytics technologies for recommending innovative solutions.
  • Coordinating transitions, talent acquisitions, and organizational design with a focus on early talent development.
  • Engaging with key GCO and business partners to understand and meet Analytics requirements.
  • Ensuring compliance with SLAs, quality, and timely delivery.

    • Role and Responsibilities

  • Managing a team of approximately 30 Direct/Indirect FTEs with potential growth.
  • Fostering strong relationships with technical teams, AZ Marketing, and business customers.
  • Proactively developing solutions for Digital Marketing needs aligned with AZ business requirements.
  • Acting as a subject matter expert to support business operations.
  • Coordinating work among diverse teams at different locations and with stakeholders.
  • Monitoring service delivery metrics, performance, and reporting.
  • Leading and supporting teams in achieving business-critical performance measures.
  • Guiding daily operations and execution, emphasizing team skill development.
  • Balancing project demands across different time zones and business needs.
  • Ensuring compliance with reporting requirements and operational standards.
  • Supporting human resources processes, career development, and team performance evaluations.

    Essential Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Business acumen in the US & Global pharma landscape.
  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma – Black/Green Belt is advantageous.
  • Advanced Analytics certification or Post-graduation credentials.
  • Extensive experience in Analytics, Digital Marketing, or Advanced Analytics, preferably in the Life Sciences sector.
  • Proficiency in Analytics, Forecasting, and AI/ML within Pharma/healthcare.
  • Leadership experience with customer-facing operations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
  • Proactive problem-solving and rapid learning abilities in evolving environments.
  • Experience working in globally distributed teams.

    • Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Health Sciences and Pharmaceutical Industry knowledge.
  • Expertise in Advanced Analytics technologies like AI/ML, LLM, NLP, and Graph Databases.
  • Experience in Digital Marketing and Measurement domains.
  • Supplier Management expertise with a focus on innovation and improvement.
  • Talent development and effective interpersonal communication skills.
  • Track record of cross-functional collaboration and business process outsourcing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
