    Description

    Position: Senior Manager - Finance Controller*

    *Location:* Pune, India (USA Shift: 2pm to 10pm, 5 days a week)

    *Branch Offices:*

    1. Current office Wakewadi Shivaji Nagar

    2. New office being established in Hingewadi near Infosys office building.

    *Roles and Responsibilities:*

    1. Prepare detailed MIS reports for internal and external stakeholders according to their specifications.

    2. Post fixed standard journals and ad hoc journals on a monthly basis.

    3. Conduct Subledger vs ledger reconciliation to ensure precision and consistency.

    4. Generate monthly balance sheet schedules and conduct reconciliations.

    5. Resolve general accounting issues in collaboration with the team lead.

    6. Maintain the Fixed Assets Register and process related journal entries (sale, disposals, additions, depreciation).

    7. Monitor and execute daily cash management activities.

    8. Efficiently handle month-end closing activities.

    9. Identify opportunities for enhancing accounting processes and lead implementation efforts.

    10. Ensure compliance with TDS and GST regulations in day-to-day accounting operations.

    11. Manage vendor relationships effectively.

    12. Collaborate closely with onshore teams.

    13. Perform intercompany reconciliations.

    14. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports accurately and promptly.

    15. Update financial data in databases for accuracy and accessibility.

    16. Coordinate internal and external audit processes.

    17. Analyze and propose solutions for open items, ensuring timely resolution.

    18. Adhere to established reconciliation procedures and follow up on open items with relevant stakeholders.

    19. Maintain reconciliation templates and supporting files in an organized manner.

    20. Attend to stakeholder queries promptly and efficiently.

    *Requirements and Skills:*

    1. Minimum 8-15 years of experience in a shared services model.

    2. Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA).

    3. Strong accounting knowledge with proficiency in handling financial data.

    4. Exceptional problem-solving skills and analytical ability, especially in high-volume transactional environments.

    5. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and ERP software (Oracle or SAP).

    6. Excellent English communication skills.

    7. Results-driven with a high degree of attention to detail and trustworthiness.

    *Additional Information:*

    1. Candidates will undergo a 15-day induction at the Head Office.

    2. Immersion period of 7 to 10 days at Dubai/USA office.

    3. The position operates on a USA shift (2pm to 10pm).

    4. This role reports to the Head Office and functions as a finance controller.

    5. Strong communication skills and a positive personality are crucial.
