    Vedantu is an Indian Interactive Online tutoring platform where teachers provide tuitions to students over the internet, using a real-time virtual learning environment named WAVE (Whiteboard Audio Video Environment) a technology built in-house. It is said to operate on a marketplace model for teachers, where students can browse, discover and choose to learn from an online tutor.Vedantus online tutoring platform enables LIVE interactive learning between a teacher and a student. It offers individual and group classes. On Vedantu a teacher is able to give personalized teaching using two-way audio, video and whiteboarding tools where both teacher and student are able to see, hear, write and interact in real-time. Imagine it like 'Skype' custom made for education. Vedantu caters to 6th grade to 12th grade and prepares for school boards, competitive examinations and has co-curricular courses as well.     Role: ACADEMIC COUNSELOR (SALES)

    About the Role :

    Academic Counselor is the face of Vedantu for all our students & parents and will help them understand

    how to leverage Vedantu Platform for their learning.

    Roles & Responsibilities

    Will have to do consultative outbound calls & follow up calls on a daily basis with prospective students & their parents.

    Fix appointments and conduct demo sessions on a daily basis with prospective students & their parents.

    Understand Customer profiles & learning problems to explain implications of ineffective learning methods and create a need for Vedantu course offerings through a structured Counseling Session with the student and the parents.

    Handle Objections and Price Negotiation to generate Sales Revenue.

    Learn/ Upgrade ones own Product Knowledge, Sales Skills, and market understanding to achieve and exceed growing Sales target(s).
