    Description
    Job Title: Engineering Manager

    Welcome to the opportunity to join our team as an Engineering Manager. We are looking for a skilled individual to lead our talented group of software engineers in developing and maintaining our high-performance trading systems.

    The ideal candidate will have a solid background in software engineering, particularly in the financial sector, and possess strong leadership skills.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead and mentor a team of software engineers in designing, developing, and implementing high-frequency trading systems and algorithms.
    • Work closely with quantitative researchers, traders, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and turn them into technical solutions.
    • Manage the entire software development lifecycle, from gathering requirements and design to testing, implementation, and deployment.
    • Ensure all code developed by the team meets the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance.
    • Drive initiatives for continuous improvement to optimize trading strategies and improve system efficiency and scalability.
    • Keep updated on the latest trends in financial markets, trading technologies, and regulations, and integrate relevant advancements into our systems and processes.
    • Cultivate an atmosphere of innovation, cooperation, and excellence within the engineering team.
    Required Skills:

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
    • 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management position.
    • Proficient in programming languages like C++, Python, focusing on high performance and low latency systems.
    • Thorough understanding of financial markets, trading principles, and electronic trading platforms.
    • Experience with real-time data processing, messaging protocols, and high-frequency trading infrastructure (e.g., FIX protocol, market data feeds, order execution).
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
    • Proven record of delivering complex software projects on time and within budget.
    • Knowledge of agile development methodologies and tools such as JIRA or Agile Central is a plus.
    • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is advantageous.
