    Description

    Financial Controller

    We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Controller to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management. You will work closely with the senior management to develop strategic financial plans and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.

    We are looking to onboard highly skilled individuals who are eager to take on cutting-edge challenges and join one of the fastest-growing FinTech companies in the Digital Lending and Treasury industry.

    Responsibilities:

    ● Develop and implement financial plans, budgets, and forecasts in alignment with company goals and objectives.

    ● Conduct financial analysis and performance evaluations to identify opportunities for cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and operational efficiency.

    ● Perform internal audits and assist external auditors

    ● Ensure all statutory compliances in timely manner including but not limited to tax (GST/TDS), and audit related compliances

    ● Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards and regulatory requirements.

    ● Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as external audit and reporting standards.

    ● Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to support ongoing operations and strategic initiatives.

    ● Develop and implement cash flow forecasting models to anticipate future cash needs and mitigate liquidity risks.

    ● Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.

    ● Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards, including tax regulations and reporting requirements.

    ● Identify and assess financial risks, including credit risk, market risk, forex risk, and operational risk, and develop strategies to mitigate exposure.

    Qualifications:

    ● Proven experience in financial management and accounting, with at least 8 years of experience in a similar role.

    ● Thorough understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, best practices, company policies, regulations, tax related compliances (GST/TDS) and financial reporting requirements.

    ● Masters in Finance (MBA/PGDM) / CA / CFA is desired

    ● Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data, analyze trends, and make strategic recommendations.

    ● Proficiency in financial software and financial modeling tools.

    ● Attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of financial integrity and compliance.

    ● Maintain high level of confidentiality of all data and information

    Experience:

    ● 8 years (Preferred)
