    Description

    Position Overview:
    Weare seeking a skilled and motivated Desktop Support Technician L1to join our IT team.

    The Desktop Support Technician will play acrucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our organizationsIT infrastructure by providing technical assistance to enduserstroubleshooting hardware and software issues and maintainingdesktopsystems.


    Responsibilities:
    1.Provide firstline technical support to endusers via variouscommunication channels including inperson phone email and remotetools.2. Diagnose and resolve hardware andsoftware issues related to desktops laptops printers mobile devicesand peripherals.3. Install configure andupgrade operating systems software applications anddrivers.4. Assist with the setup anddeployment of new desktops laptops and mobiledevices.5. Collaborate with higherlevelsupport tiers to escalate and resolve complex technicalproblems.6. Perform regular systemmaintenance including system updates patches and securityconfigurations.7. Monitor and respond to ITservice requests and incident tickets within defined service levelagreements (SLAs).8. Document technicalprocedures solutions and troubleshooting steps for knowledge basereference.9. Participate in hardware andsoftware inventory management.10. Assistwith user account management including account creation passwordresets and access permissions.11. Maintain ahigh level of customer satisfaction through effective communicationand problemsolving skills.12. Provide basictraining to endusers on software applications and IT bestpractices.13. Contribute to IT projects suchas system upgrades migrationsandimplementations.


    MinimumRequirements:
    1. Diploma / Graduation orequivalent; technical certifications orrelevantcoursework is aplus.2. Proven experience in providingdesktop support services. ( Not ApplicableforFreshers )3.Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operatingsystems.4. ITIL Certification will be anadded advantage.5. Familiarity withMicrosoft Office Suite email clients and webbrowsers.6. Basic understanding ofnetworking concepts including TCP/IP DHCP andDNS.7. Solid hardware troubleshooting skillsfor desktops laptops and peripherals.8.Excellent problemsolving and communicationabilities.9. Ability to work independentlyand as part of a team.10. Customerorientedattitude with a strong focus on delivering qualitysupport.11. Willingness to learn and adaptto new technologies and processes.12.Experience with remote support tools and ticketing systems ispreferred.13. Ability to lift and movecomputer equipment whennecessary.
