    Job Description :

    This position is with one of my Fintech client leading financial services platform with a mission to provide access to fair, fast, affordable and transparent financial products for millions of borrowers across India.

    By providing a simple, clean, efficient and easy to navigate digital platform, it empowers individuals in helping to take charge of their financial health


    It provides affordable financial products to borrowers in India to meet their credit needs and is among the top 5 financial services platforms.

    The firm also strives to create opportunities for borrowers with limited credit footprints to participate in the formal financial system, thereby enabling them to build their credit footprint and successfully embark on a journey of economic freedom.

    The Role :


    • We are looking for a business focused, entrepreneurial Engineering leader to join.
    • In addition to shaping technology vision, this SVP Engineering will be the bridge between business & technology.
    • As our Engineering leader , you will play a key role in setting the direction on technology strategy in order to accomplish short, medium & longterm goals.
    • You will take a leading role in scaling the platform, managing the engineering team, technical architecture & technical development.
    Key Responsibilities :


    • Manage a team of passionate engineers to take on worldchanging challenges guided by our Engineering Principles
    • Some of which have never been solved before.
    • Bring leadership and principled approach to engineering to set up your team for success.
    • Collaborate for impact across cross functional teams in a fast paced environment.
    • Contribute to future tech roadmap with an outcomes driven mindset.
    • Responsible for managing the engineering organization structure, making hiring decisions and being involved in interviewing and mentoring new engineers with the goal of quickly making them productive members of your team
    • Creating high performing teams that work well on their own, together and with the rest of the company.
    • Provide clarity of vision and technical guidance, as well as handson resource and project management, for all software development activities
    • Understanding our architecture and working with the Architecture Forum to ensure we enhance our Technology in line with new product releases.
    • You will ensure we build just what is needed in the simplest and most pragmatic way possible.
    • You will be a key driver into the shaping of technical roadmaps, systems architecture and technology
    • Driving through delivery of features and releases from conception to launch.
    • Ensure we have a robust and effective testing team and processes in place.
    • You will partner with Product Managers and will be jointly accountable for the OKRs, outcomes and the overall success
    • You will own the delivery, costs, quality, and security of multiple teams.
    • Understand and lead change through continuous improvement.
    Qualifications And Skills :


    • Experience required 1215 years (More than 5 years of experience in managing & building high performance teams
    • Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
    • Experience working Golang/Node.
    JS

    • BS/MS Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
    • Ability to manage and work within ambiguity to reach a successful outcome.
    • Working knowledge of scaled agile practices.
    • Previous working experience with leading teams using some of the following technologies :
    • Node/Golang

    Database :
    MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis

    • Hands on experience with Kubernetes & working with multi cloud architecture
    • An excellent team player, can work effectively and pragmatically with a team
    • A high level of EQ and proven ability to inspire, motivate and engage engineering functions.
    • A skilled delivery manager with demonstrable experience of managing multiple teams.
    • Excellent understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
    • Above average project management skills must be a natural at keeping track of various sprints, budgets, employees, and schedules simultaneously
