    Description

    Job Title : Director of Information Security.

    Company :

    On behalf of our esteemed client, a pioneering Fintech company, Recrud is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic individual to fill the role of Director of Information Security. This position is critical for safeguarding the company's digital assets and ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive financial data.

    Role Overview :

    The Director of Information Security will be at the forefront of developing and implementing cutting-edge security strategies to protect against cyber threats, fraud, and data breaches. This role demands a strategic leader who can balance technological solutions with risk management and compliance requirements.

    The successful candidate will work closely with IT, engineering, and business units to foster a culture of security awareness and resilience throughout the :

    • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive information security strategies and policies.
    • Oversee the management of cybersecurity risks, incident response protocols, and disaster recovery plans.
    • Collaborate with senior management to align security initiatives with business goals and regulatory requirements.
    • Manage the Information Security team, providing guidance and mentorship to enhance their skills and effectiveness.
    • Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for all matters related to information security, including liaising with external security agencies and stakeholders.
    • Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to continually enhance the company's security posture.

    Minimum Qualifications :

    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
    • A Master's degree or relevant professional certifications (CISSP, CISM, etc.) is highly desirable.
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in information security, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a Fintech company or a similar high-stakes financial environment.
    • Proven track record of developing and executing successful information security strategies.
    • Comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, etc.), financial regulations, and compliance requirements.
    • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and cultivate talent.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
