    Description
    Role: Deputy/Assistant Manager- Communications

    Experience: 7+ years
    Location: Bandra, Mumbai
    Salary: 6-12.4LPA

    Job Overview: This role is part of the team responsible for strategizing and executing all communication activities for United Way Mumbai. The ideal candidate will be in charge of developing and implementing both short and long-term plans to help the organization achieve its marketing, communications, and fundraising objectives. Daily tasks include managing social media channels, creating engaging content for the organization's website, impact reports, press releases, and producing campaign materials for field teams across key focus areas such as Education, Health, Income, Environment, and Public Safety.

    Role and Responsibilities:
    • Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies to promote the organization and its programs to diverse audiences. Ensure all communication aligns with organizational standards and brand guidelines, accurately conveys ideas, and represents the organization effectively
    • Write, edit, and proofread various materials, including press releases, brochures, newsletters, speeches, and social media content
    • Foster and maintain relationships with media outlets and journalists, and act as a spokesperson for the organization when necessary. Coordinate and organize events like press conferences, fundraisers, and community outreach activities.
    • Oversee the organization's social media presence, including content creation, scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and engaging with comments and messages.
    • Collaborate with internal teams, such as Investor Relations and program teams, to ensure consistent messaging and branding.
    • Stay updated on internal and external communication trends to keep the organization at the forefront. Analyze communication metrics to assess the effectiveness of communication initiatives
    Profile Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in any field.
    • Minimum of 7 years experience in a communications role, preferably in a non-profit or social impact setting
    • Excellent writing and editing skills, experience in creating content for different platforms, and managing websites and social media channels
    • Strategic mindset for devising impactful marketing campaigns, exceptional creativity, and innovative communication skills with attention to detail.
    • Strong organizational and time-management abilities to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment. Proficient in project management, handling multiple projects simultaneously
    • Passionate about the organization's mission and objectives
    Compensation: Salary range is based on qualifications, experience, and performance; the range is within INR LPA
