    Description

    Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Analyst with an MBA in Finance to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in alternate asset management, a deep understanding of financial operations and accounting functions, and expertise in various investment strategies such as Mezzanine, Direct lending, Public credit, CLOs, etc.

    Responsibilities:

    Financial Strategy Expertise:

    • Demonstrate a strong understanding of financial strategies, including but not limited to direct lending Mezzanine, Direct lending, Public credit, CLOs, and their respective life cycles.

    Alternate Asset Management Experience:

    • Leverage previous experience in alternate asset management to provide valuable insights and recommendations to clients.

    Operational and Accounting Knowledge:

    • Possess a deep understanding of operational and accounting functions within the financial industry, ensuring the implementation of best practices.

    Systems Proficiency:

    • Work with accounting systems such as VPM or Geneva, Security Master systems, and reference master systems. Previous experience with Black Mountain systems is highly desirable.

    Conceptual Understanding:

    • Showcase a good understanding of advanced financial concepts such as time series analysis and audits, contributing to strategic decision-making processes.

    Data Analysis:

    • Utilize SQL to analyze data effectively, providing actionable insights to enhance decision-making processes and improve overall business performance.

    Tech Solutions Implementation:

    • Convert business requirements into technical solutions by leveraging existing systems and/or proposing new ones.
    • Produce high-quality Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) with proper estimates.
    • Ensure projects are completed on time by actively overseeing the implementation process.

    Qualifications:

    Education:

    • MBA in Finance or related field.

    Experience:

    • Proven experience in alternate asset management.
    • Familiarity with accounting systems (VPM, Geneva), Security Master systems, and reference master systems.
    • Working knowledge of Black Mountain systems.

    Strategy Knowledge:

    • In-depth understanding of various financial strategies and their life cycles.

    Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in SQL for data analysis.

    Communication:

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

    Collaboration:

    • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
