    Description

    Sales Manager

    Location – Kolkata

    Experience – 5 to 10 years

    Job Responsibilities

    • Create strategic sales calendars for multiple markets, domestic and international.
    • Implement, execute, and coordinate tasks as per marketing/sales plans.
    • Initiate plans and strategies for developing business to achieve the Company's sales goals.
    • Implement sales plan/targets and execute sales tasks.
    • Identify and manage the distribution chain and day-to-day sales activities.
    • Coordinate internal and external interactions and activities.
    • Monitor expenses to achieve cost efficiency and economy.
    • Provide visibility into the sales pipeline at every stage of development.
    • Work with cross-functional peers in international markets and regions, providing support from India if required.
    • Assist in planning, monitoring expenses, and revenues to achieve cost efficiency. Make budgets and media plans for various markets globally.
    • Identify new market opportunities, analyze sales performance, key consumer insights, competitive insights, shaping strategies that drive customer acquisition and lifetime value.
    • Prepare relevant MIS reports.

    Job Requisites

    • Passion in sales and fashion with relevant experience in lifestyle brand, fashion, accessories, home goods, etc.
    • Good communicator in English. Knowledge of other Indian languages is a plus.
    • Enjoy a rapidly growing environment, lead others while being hands-on.
    • Desire to build processes with ability to prioritize and organize sales activities.
    • Must have industry contacts and relationships across various channels, distributors, retailers, boutiques, etc.
    • Experience in stepping into new markets, planning, negotiating deals, placing products, etc.
    • Self-starter, target-oriented with a go-getter attitude.
    • Strong in problem-solving, issue-resolution, working in a deadline-driven environment, multitasking, and attention to detail.
    • Excellent presentation, time-management, project management, decision-making, and interpersonal/team-working skills.
    • At least a bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, communications, or related field.
    • Proven experience as head of sales, developing market-focused, achievable solutions.
    • Ability to influence cross-functional teams.
    • Flexibility to travel.
    • Residing in Kolkata or willing to relocate.
