    About the Role:

    We are looking for a talented Manager/Senior Manager, Development to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development of RingCentral's Phone capabilities on the cloud. The ideal candidate should possess a solid background in software development within the Telecom domain and a successful history of leading projects. This position requires a collaborative leader with strong ownership, accountability, and prioritization skills to build and nurture a high-performing team.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Lead the design, development, and automation of Telco components for RingCentral's Phone solution, ensuring top-grade stability and quality standards.
    • Manage a team of developers and automation engineers, offering technical guidance and mentorship. Implement best practices for software development, data management, and system integration.
    • Engage in hands-on coding and code reviews while leading the team.
    • Provide technical expertise and support for Telecom projects. Collaborate with the Product Team and stakeholders in solution design and issue resolution.
    • Oversee project implementations from start to finish, ensuring transparent status reporting and close collaboration with Project and Program Managers.
    • Maintain high quality in product documentation and adhere to compliance and risk management frameworks.

    Minimum Qualifications, Education and Experience:

    • BS/MS degree or equivalent experience in the field.
    • 10+ years of experience in software products within the telecom domain.
    • At least 3 years in a software development management role.
    • Hands-on experience in C++, Linux, and open source libraries.
    • Knowledge of SIP, VOIP, and telecom.
    • Familiarity with public cloud services.
    • Understanding of SDLC best practices.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, people management, project management, and negotiation skills.
