    Who are we?

    Trelleborg India Private Limited, (Business Unit: Trelleborg Sealing Solutions) headquartered at Bangalore is a leading sealing solution provider in India. The company with about 700 employees across India has been successful in creating strong footholds in the Sealing market of the country.

    We are looking for you as a Senior Sales Engineer for our sales department. The location of the position will be Ahmedabad, India to support the growth of our regional sales & promote the entire range of products offered by the company to the customers in West region.

    About the Job

    • You will be responsible for the Sales growth and Profitability in Gujarat region.
    • You will be responsible for end-to-end sales and new business/ new product development in this region.
    • You will be responsible to generate, convert and manage projects for key target customers in this region.
    • You will be responsible for the turnover and margin of the region.
    • You will be responsible to develop and implement procedures to ensure that customer projects, quotations and orders are processed efficiently.
    • You will get an opportunity to develop short and long-term strategic sales plans for key customers and global key accounts, utilizing Sales Excellence Tools.
    • Your responsibility includes to identify, research, and contact prospective target growth customers that will generate future sales and repeat business.
    • You will be responsible to build customer relationships and strategic partnerships, assess customer needs and recommend appropriate products and services; respond to complex customer inquiries; negotiate prices and delivery times, and win sales orders to meet sales targets

    About the Ideal Candidate

    Education & Experience:

    • Technical Education (minimum Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering)
    • Has 6-8 years of experience in a customer-facing role, especially in Sales roles.
    • Project management skills
    • Great networking skills
    • Excellent prioritization skills
    • Experience in working in a global organization

    Competencies:

    • Strong working experience in sales with handling OEM customers
    • Knowledge of Seals, Hydraulic, Cylinder application and Pneumatic systems
    • Knowledge of Rubber/Plastic products
