    Job Description

    The role of the Trainer will be to manage the School Transformation Program implementation in coordination with the school management and teachers in the assigned partner schools, and work with students to execute the program interventions.

    Roles & Responsibilities of Facilitator

    • Program Implementation - Work directly with school administrators and staff in the development, implementation, and evaluation of School Education program in the assigned schools.
      Knowledge and ability to conduct program related sessions on STEM Education, environment awareness and protection, make children exam ready through coaching, guidance and workshops, provide guidance and counselling to students on career planning etc.
    • Planning & Scheduling - prepare timetables for classes in order to achieve program objectives and complete the planned sessions on time.
      Ensure smooth functioning and implementation of program activities at the school including assessments, student identification, workshops, events, reporting etc. Hold self-accountable for the day-to-day event execution & operations
      Immediate troubleshooting and resolution of challenges working along with the operations and support team, vendors and other stakeholders
    • Assessments - Adopting a data-driven attitude towards measuring learner progress. Conducting assessments for the students to evaluate the current levels and the impact of the program. Plan and execute effective peer-driven Learning Circles, technical support such as grade level circles and training sessions to improve the program impact on students
    • Data management - collaborate with the school management and teachers in collecting program-specific data for MIS.
      Timely submission of monthly, quarterly and annual reports and updates of the program
    • Deliver the interventions under the School Transformation program (STP) at the schools identified by Bhumi and work on capacity building of the teachers in the STP education curriculum.
      Exhibit and display student work across the school, conduct events and program related activities periodically

    Preferred Education Qualification / Experience:

    • Graduation / Post-Graduation with B Ed - Preferably 1-2 years of teaching experience with school students
    • Should be a quick learner to understand and execute the structured program
    • Coordination skills to work with the School management, administration, teachers, students and the vendor
    • Good teaching skills to coach and guide students on the program activities
    • Candidates should be enthusiastic about experimenting with electronic devices, conduct program related classes
    • Experience in reporting, teacher training, monitoring and evaluation
    • Ability to mentor students to achieve academic goals towards career development
    • Good English speaking & writing skills

    • Good orientation of MS Office
    • Good understanding of the pedagogical aspects involved in teaching children.

    • Emotional maturity to build relationships, empathize with the perspectives/needs of team members and develop others
    • Highly resourceful and also self-driven
    • Forward-looking thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions

    Other Information:

    • Scope: Full time Consultant
    • Remuneration: 3,00,000 p.a. – 3,30,000 p.a., based on the candidate skill and experience
    • Expected Joining Date: Immediate
    • Location: Chennai / Pune
    • Minimum commitment: Two years


    Requirements
    Skills Required: ● Networking – find out & establish contact with local Communities, Colleges, NGOs & other Partnerships. ● Able to do house visits and good reachability in the community. ● Written and oral communication in Tamil and English. Hindi will be an added advantage.. ● Ability to engage with daily wagers and college dropouts & slum youths. ● Basic Idea of Qualitative and Quantitative research methodologies. ● Flexibility & Positive thoughts – keen to learn new things. Education Qualification / Experience: MSW / MBA from a recognized university with 1-3 years of relevant experience Other Information: Designation: Associate, Skill-Ed, Student Mobilizer.
