      Wealth & Investment Management (WIM) is one of the nation's leading providers of financial and investment services in the United States offering a full range of products and services to meet clients' unique needs and help them achieve financial goals. It consists of six different lines of business, one of which is Wells Fargo Advisors group. Within WFA, this requirement is with Brokerage Operations.

      About the Role

      Wells Fargo Brokerage Ops is seeking for a Securities Operations Associate Manager for Credit Monitoring & Reporting and Collateral Operations. This candidate will be primarily responsible for managing a team of specialists working on transactional tasks ensuring quality and compliance with the procedures. The team deals with stringent cutoffs and tight deadlines, the candidate should therefore possess the sense of urgency and willingness to go beyond the expectations. The candidate is expected to be the SME on the process and will be the first point of escalation for the team and where required will be expected to perform complex transaction processing/ QC tasks.

      Primary Responsibilities:

      Is responsible for performing a variety of operational tasks for highly complex securities or cash related transactions or processes that require good knowledge of unit functions and systems. Duties may include:
    • Managing a team of specialists working on transactional tasks ensuring quality and compliance with the procedures.
    • Be the first point of contact for all delivery tasks and escalations.
    • Good understanding of market participants like custodian, clearinghouse, brokers, Investment Managers, exchange and various products like stock/equity, mutual fund, bonds etc.
    • Leads and/or participates in production/ Process improvement efforts; and addresses procedural impacts.
    • Provides management level reporting including service quality, volume tracking, and/or staff performance.
    • SME of the process/look after the overall process delivery.
    • Make sure all the functions are cross trained appropriately and all the function have backups to manage the staff leave management.
    • Ensure team consistently meets delivery expectations and resolve issues related to reporting, career path and related activities for direct reports.
    • Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including more experienced managers.
    • Lead team to achieve objectives.
    • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy.
    • Essential Qualifications:
    • 9+ years of Securities/Custody/Investment banking experience, preferably on Credit Margin and Collateral Management Business.
    • Understands the functionalities of US capital markets and various products like stock/equity, mutual fund, bonds etc.
    • Understands the risk areas associated with the process and ability to resolve the issues/escalations diligently.
    • Detail-oriented with good problem-solving skills.
    • 1+ years of Leadership experience.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Commerce Graduate with /MBA preferably in Finance vertical
    • Desired Qualification:
    • Very good problem solving and analytical and numerical skills.
    • Must have experience of interacting with US customers/ stake holders.
    • Working Hours: 6:30pm to 3:30am IST
