    Job Purpose

    The HRPB shall support business leaders in the implementation of engagement initiatives, manpower planning and people operations activities to ensure the ongoing success of the organization by having an engaged and motivated workforce. The purpose of the role primarily revolves around ensuring on time execution of various key HR Transformational and Transactional items.

    Job Outline

    As part of the Human Resources Team at the Indian School of Business, the job holder will work closely to drive the HR priorities and champion the HR initiatives in the facility pertaining to employee hiring, onboarding, productivity and efficiency, and engagement.

    • Culture and Reinforcement of Values - Institutionalize Organizational Values in employees and processes.
    • Relations & Communications - Employee relation forums that provide an opportunity for employees to connect and bond with management and peers. Enable openness and two-way communication between employees and management through communication forums such as 1-0-1 Meetings, skip level meetings, focused group discussions, ESAT surveys.
    • development and retention including Employee Engagement, Training, Change management, Reward and recognition management. The incumbent is expected to plan & create an engagement calendar and execute various employee engagement activities as per the calendar.
    • a smooth employee lifecycle, which includes but not limited to Onboarding, Grievance handling, PMS, RnR, Employee satisfaction survey, Exit Interview.
    • Responsibility – The HRBP will handle Organizational Level responsibilities in addition to the Key HR activities to ensure standardization and execution across the locations. This shall include Payroll, C&B, L&D, Event Management, PMS, Audits, etc.
    • and recommend improvements to benefit programs. Develop and manage annual budgets for the department and perform periodic cost and productivity analysis.
    • HRMIS for the Departments which give clarity and become strategic partners to the stakeholders. Work on Data driven analysis.

    Lead various automation and digitalization projects for the department.

    Update all changes to employee records in HR files as well as on online tools.

    Handling external HR vendors

    Maintaining strict confidentiality while dealing with employee data at all levels.

    Benchmarking the present HR Practices with the Industry Practices

    In addition to managing the above key deliverables, the job holder is expected to assist in various HR projects which may be undertaken at either of the campuses and ensure full support in completion of these time bound projects.

    Managing day to day HR operational activities form an integral part of the role and hence, the incumbent is expected to develop thorough understanding of the various HR processes and policies and be able to manage employee queries accordingly.

    The job holder is further required to manage Key stakeholders as part of day-to-day functioning and be able to manage escalations, if any, at a local level.

    Further, the individual would be required to work closely with Senior AD-HR in designing a road map focused on making ISB a world class institution as an employer and a great place to work and planning various employee level training & key OD initiatives such as 360-degree feedbacks/creation of a Talent Management framework and creation of leadership pipelines/developmental roadmaps for HiPOs.
