    We are seeking an ambitious and dynamic Business Development Manager to focus on securing mandates for financial transactions within the Indian subcontinent.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying companies requiring growth capital, including those at the pre-IPO stage, companies needing project finance and equipment import finance, and Ultra-High-Net-Worth Individuals (UHNWIs) looking to acquire aircraft and yachts.

    This role involves recruiting, mentoring, and managing a team of up to three Associates, and driving the growth of AFII Corporate's advisory and fund-raising services.

    This position requires excellent networking skills and a deep understanding of the financial services industry.

    Key Responsibilities

    :


    Identify and pursue new leads to secure mandates for financial transactions, including growth capital for companies at the pre-IPO stage.

    Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets and expand the client base within the Indian subcontinent.

    Utilize existing networks and develop new relationships to identify and reach out to potential clients across various industrial sectors.

    Identify and target companies needing project finance, such as infrastructure projects (roads, bridges, ports), energy projects (renewable energy, power plants), and large-scale industrial projects (manufacturing plants, mining operations).

    Identify and target companies needing international project finance and equipment import finance.
    Engage with UHNWIs seeking financing for the acquisition of high-value assets such as aircraft and yachts.
    Recruit, mentor, and manage a team of up to three Associates to support business development activities.
    Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, industry stakeholders, and partners to generate leads and secure new mandates.
    Collaborate with internal teams in Germany, Vietnam, and UAE to leverage global expertise and resources.
    Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
    Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes to identify new opportunities and provide actionable insights.
    Represent AFII Corporate at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to enhance the company's visibility and brand.
    Ensure high levels of client satisfaction by providing exceptional service and support throughout the engagement process.

    Qualifications

    :

    Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certifications will be an advantage.
    7-10 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field within the financial services industry.
    Proven track record of securing mandates and achieving sales targets in the financial sector.
    Strong leadership skills with experience in recruiting, mentoring, and managing a team.
    Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, industry stakeholders, and partners.
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM software.
    Strong understanding of global financial markets, industry trends, and regulatory environment.
    Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    Willingness to travel as required.
