    Description

    As the Lead - Corporate Communications (Office of the CEO) for South Asia, you will lead and innovate all the official communications and content curation for various documents, concept notes, reports and presentations with focus on enhancing the organization's visibility and engagement across platforms.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree, preferably in communications, marketing, public relations or journalism

    Mandatory Skills:

    • Excellent communication skills
    • Experience managing communications from executive-level handles
    • Demonstrated ability to write speeches and talk points for public events and engagements, capturing the tone and messaging of the CEO
    • Planning and executing social media strategies for senior executives
    • Report writing proficiency and media relations experience (preferred)
    • Team Collaboration

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Corporate Communications: The candidate will be responsible for understanding the Deakin University's India & South Asia operations & articulate it in a concept note
    • Leadership Communication: Managing communications from the CEO South Asia handle, including email communications such as thank-you note and updates
    • Social Media Management: Planning and executing social media strategies in consultation with Manager - Digital Marketing & Communications including content creation to enhance visibility and engagement. Ensure publication of such communications as per the agreed schedule and conduct regular monitoring of CEO's social media profiles
    • Speech writing for public engagement: Drafting speeches and talk points for public events and engagements
    • Knowledge Management: Facilitating the organisation and dissemination of information within the CEO office and Marketing Department to enhance collaboration and decision-making
    • Report writing: Overseeing content capture during key events and panel discussions to translate findings into whitepapers and reports for broader dissemination. The candidate should have expertise in writing executive summaries
    • Business Case writing: Develop business case during the early stages of a project and outlines the why, what, how, and who for the organization
    • Content Creation: Crafting compelling content including newsletters, scripts, blogs, and social media posts to engage and inform stakeholders
    • Media Relations: Working with the PR team to develop quotes and articles for media outlets on behalf of CEO (South Asia) to effectively communicate organisational messages and respond to inquiries
    • Internal Communications: Developing and implementing strategies to facilitate effective communication and engagement among internal stakeholders
    • Query Management: Addressing inquiries and fostering connections to ensure timely and accurate responses to stakeholders on social media
    • Industry Engagement: Participating in industry conversations and managing award submissions to enhance the organization's visibility and reputation
    • Speaker Profile Management: Updating and managing speaker profiles and websites for the CEO (South Asia) to showcase expertise and enhance credibility
    • Content Support for Other Roles: Providing amplification and content support for various organizational initiatives and events
    • Visual Content Creation: Overseeing photography, image editing, and video shoot coordination to produce engaging visual content for CEO social media and other communications
