    Inviting applications for the role of Consultant - French Translator Support

    In this role, we are seeking a skilled and experienced French Translator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately translating a variety of documents from English to French and vice versa. The ideal candidate will have strong linguistic skills, attention to detail, and cultural sensitivity.

    Responsibilities

    ·Translate a wide range of documents, including but not limited to, articles, reports, marketing materials, website content, and legal documents, from English to French and vice versa.

    ·Ensure the accuracy and quality of translations, paying attention to grammar, punctuation, and cultural nuances.

    ·Collaborate with team members to ensure consistency in terminology and style across translations.

    ·Conduct research as needed to ensure the accuracy and relevance of translations.

    ·Meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

    ·Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in handling sensitive information.

    Qualifications
    Minimum qualifications

    Any one of the following in French:

    ·Bachelor's Degree

    ·Immersion programs or Additional course

    ·Specialized Training

    ·Internships or work experience

    Preferred Qualifications

    ·Proven experience as a translator, with a focus on English to French and French to English translations.

    ·Excellent proficiency in both English and French, with strong writing and communication skills in both languages.

    ·A degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred.

    ·Proficiency in translation software and tools is an advantage.

    ·Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under tight deadlines.

    ·Cultural sensitivity and awareness of linguistic nuances.

    ·Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
