    Description

    Associate Director - Project Management will be responsible for coordinating and providing project support to key Strategic initiatives as well as the coordination of various operations within Mercer GSD. It will report to the Strategic Initiatives Leader for COO of Mercer Global Service Delivery Team.

    This role is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to bring a breadth of end-to-end Strategic project management, communication, creative, and critical thinking capabilities in a high-growth, high-performing leadership team, gaining insight and experience into organizational management.

    Core Responsibilities

    Deliver on Key Strategic Priorities

    • Responsible for creating robust project plans with key measures of success, milestones and defining clear ownership, linking to overall strategy of the Organization.
    • Possess the ability to identify business problems, build and enhance business cases through data.
    • Ability to multitask across myriad priorities by breaking down complex tasks into simple actionable steps.
    • Responsible for creating impactful presentations including internal co-ordination and external research.
    • Possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence peers and seniors.
    • Stakeholder management across functional and non-functional hierarchy
    • Ability to operate independently with minimal guidance.

    Project Management

    • Responsible for monitoring the lifecycle process and making recommendations on how to implement changes or process improvements.
    • Provide experienced administration to Strategic Initiatives leader and assists the work of project team members, organizing a myriad of complex tasks
    • Effectively communicates to both team members and senior leadership regionally and globally, serving as a primary point of contact for project stakeholders.
    • Ensures project deliverables meet required quality standards.

    Knowledge and Skills

    The ideal candidate for this full-time role:

    • MBA from Tier1/2 Institute with at least 8 years of professional experience
    • In their prior professional experience (at least 8 years) has demonstrated initiative, desire for personal and professional growth, challenging themselves, and ability to self-manage with limited oversight
    • Strong communication ability, specifically English writing and speaking. Experience working with regional multi-national company a plus.
    • has the ability to independently manage themselves and work with senior individuals to manage against project plans, moving across projects flexibly
    • should have strong experience with business applications and technology, including MS Office Suite (experience with PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Word, etc) as well as central data systems (pulling and analysing data sets from central systems) able to independently structure and execute analyses in these applications with minimal guidance or oversight
    • strong project management and administration capabilities able to manage multiple projects of moderate complexity and across functions/topic areas
    • enjoys working in a team and fast-paced, highly collaborative, relationship-oriented environment
    • combines strong quantitative, analytical skills with an understanding of design/creativity in presentation of data and analysis. Able to create charts, powerpoint presentations for senior stakeholders with limited oversight.
