    Job Description :

    Summary :

    The Systems Administrator :
    Windows is responsible for supporting & maintaining the computer systems, to include providing Windows based systems administration.


    Primary Duties :

    • Provides tier two technical support within the Company I.T. infrastructure and endusers.
    • Provides maintenance of routine data backups and serverbased troubleshooting as it relates to enduser support & projectbased initiatives Data backup processes & administration.
    • Provides daily backups and tape archival of all existing and new servers.
    • Maintains tape rotation cycle with offsite vendor.
    • Troubleshoots basic incidents or collaborates with infrastructure teams to solve problems with backup issues and maintains backup documentation.
    • Documents data restore techniques based on the software architecture being backedup.
    • Performs periodic data restore testing.
    • Assists in advanced issue resolution & provide oncall support.
    • Serves as initial point of contact for support on Windows level system incidents.
    • Configures and debugs programs/systems, data backup, and/or processes.
    • Other duties as required and assigned.

    Requirements :

    Education and Experience :

    • Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field from a 4year college or university
    • Minimum 4 years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination education and experience
    • Experience performing administrative, maintenance and troubleshooting with Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint
    • Experience with Windows servers, Active Directories, and VMware
    • MCSA Preferred
    • Knowledge of 3rd party logistics, transportation systems, and/or warehouse management is preferred
    • Knowledge of leading industry technologies with a strong knowledge around IT governance, project planning, and the technological usage/alternatives available in a multiplatform environment

    Essential Skills :

    • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
    • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and coworkers.
    • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
    • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.)
