    Description

    The Bi-Lingual Language Professional is responsible for writing in English & Tamil, and translating Tamil to English & vice versa, with a strong understanding of the context, relativity, and impact of the content. Their objective is to create content, translate, and present it in a meaningful and insightful way to the best understanding of the readers/end-users.

    Job Description:


    • Closely work with the internal teams to support them with content creation and translation related works.


    • Proactively conduct quality check processes that can improve the standard of the original content and the translated version.


    • Support the internal teams to create appropriate content for social media platforms including Twitter (X), Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.


    • Create different versions of content for different purposes and types of communication (e.g., online & on ground campaigns, digital bytes, pamphlets, etc.).


    • Manage the content creation and translation-related works/projects of the different internal teams. Perform other duties as assigned by the reporting head(s) and management of the organization.

    Qualifications:


    • Postgraduate (MA) in Tamil Literature or English Literature with equal expertise in English and Tamil.

    Preferable Requirements:


    • Good Understanding of socio-economic, cultural, and demographic profiles and their characteristics in different states of India, especially Tamil Nadu.


    • A good understanding of the socio-political environment of Tamil Nadu and the history of public welfare policies and governance initiatives of the Tamil Nadu state.


    • Typing skills in English and Tamil.


    • Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills; and competency to multitask, and manage priorities in a fast-paced work environment.


    • Ability to work under pressure, work with internal and external multi-diversified teams, adapt to change and uncertainty, and demonstrate a strong work ethic, etc.

    Experience: This role requires 0-3 years of experience in the related role and industry
