- Managing and overseeing the filing of regular tax returns, including income tax, GST and other direct or indirect taxes.
- Ensuring effective management of open audits and tax litigation
- To be a reliable and effective business partner
- Collaborating with Business and Corporate teams to ensure our tax strategies and policies are implemented accurately
- Identifying, tracking and reporting any potential tax risks or issues and working closely with the relevant teams to implement appropriate solutions.
- Ensuring timely compliances, maintaining documentation and records related to tax filings, provisions and other tax-related activities.
- Coordinate and manage tax audits and open litigations, attend personal hearings and communicate outcome to relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other teams, such as finance, legal and operations, to ensure alignment and coordination on tax matters
- Closely working with Global teams to ensure correct tax accounting and reporting.
- Identify and implement tax planning and optimisation opportunities
- Providing requisite support on key business projects inlcuding M&A projects
- Stay updated with changes in tax laws and regulations in India and proactively identify potential risks or opportunities for the organisation.
- Identify tax areas where technology can be used as a tool to simplify and imporve the existing processes and implementation thereof.
- Foster a culture of tax compliance and awareness throughout the organisation, providing training and support as needed.
- Maintain compliant environment by following anti-corruption policy of the company. Required skills and qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in commerce, accounting, taxation.
- Professional qualification of Chartered Accountant (CA) with minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management
- Exposure of dealing with the tax authorities in compliant environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) software like SAP.

:We're looking for an adept and skilled tax professional to add to our team at ADM Agro Industries India Private Limited.
As a key member of our Tax Department, you'll ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations and contribute to our goal of maintaining financial accuracy at our organisation.
You will also oversee all tax-related functions, including filing tax returns, advising the Business and Corporate teams and managing tax audits.
The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in tax law and regulations, experience in managing tax compliance and audits, and a passion for providing exceptional tax planning and advice.
