    Job Overview

    We are looking for a highly motivated Education Counsellor to join our team at Smart Start. As an Education Counsellor, you will be responsible for guiding and assisting students in making informed decisions about their education and career choices. This is a full-time position based in Pune, Maharashtra, India.

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Education, or a related field
    • 1-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the education sector
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Strong sales and negotiation skills
    • Proficiency in career counseling techniques and assessment tools
    • Familiarity with outbound sales, cold calling, and sales processes
    • Ability to work independently and in a team
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • Passionate about helping students achieve their educational goals

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Provide career counseling and guidance to students regarding educational programs and courses
    • Assist students in identifying their strengths, interests, and goals
    • Conduct in-depth research on various universities, colleges, and educational programs
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the education industry
    • Develop and maintain relationships with educational institutions and key stakeholders
    • Assist students in the application and admissions process
    • Track and analyze student progress and maintain accurate records
    • Collaborate with other team members and departments to enhance student support services
