    Description

    Overview:

    The SeniorAccountant plays a crucial role in the financial management andreporting process of our organization. They are responsible forensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial records providingfinancial analysis and reporting and contributing to strategicfinancial decisionmaking.

    KeyResponsibilities:

    • Oversee and managegeneral accounting functions including accounts payable accountsreceivable and payroll processing.
    • Prepare andreview financial statements in compliance withGAAP.
    • Conduct and oversee financial analysis tosupport business decisions.
    • Assist in budgetingand forecasting processes.
    • Manage and reconcileaccounts ledgers and financialdatabases.
    • Ensure compliance with taxregulations and assist with taxfilings.
    • Collaborate with external auditorsduring financial audits.
    • Assist in developingand implementing accounting policies andprocedures.
    • Supervise and mentor junioraccounting staff.
    • Utilize accounting softwareto maintain accurate financialrecords.
    • Participate in financial data analysisand financial reporting to support managementdecisionmaking.
    • Contribute to the developmentand maintenance of internalcontrols.

    RequiredQualifications:

    • Bachelors degree inAccounting Finance or related field.
    • CPAcertification highly preferred.
    • 5 years ofexperience in accounting or financeroles.
    • Thorough knowledge of GAAP and financialreporting standards.
    • Proficiency in accountingsoftware and Microsoft Excel.
    • Strong analyticaland problemsolving skills.
    • Excellentcommunication and interpersonalabilities.
    • Ability to work effectively in afastpaced dynamic environment.
    • Detailorientedwith strong organizational skills.
    • Experiencein supervising and mentoring juniorstaff.
    • Understanding of tax regulations andcompliance requirements.
    • Ability to maintainconfidentiality and handle sensitive financialinformation.
    • Proven track record of meetingdeadlines and delivering highqualitywork.
    • Experience in conducting financialanalysis and providing insights to support businessdecisions.
    • Adherence to high ethical standardsand integrity in financialpractices.
