    Technical Head

    Summary :


    The Technical Head is a pivotal and influential position that requires a robust technical background in pricing software solutions like PriceFX, along with a deep commitment to team development, client engagement, and solutioning.


    The ideal candidate will lead the technical direction of PriceFX projects, from initial scoping during the sales cycle to solution design and seamless execution.

    This role encompasses mentorship of junior team members, fostering their growth, and spearheading the development of a top-tier technical team, essential for delivering exceptional value and ensuring the company's competitive edge.

    Key Responsibilities :

    Strategic Technical Leadership:



    • Lead at a strategic level in all technical aspects of PriceFX projects, from presales activities to postimplementation support.
    • Collaborate closely with sales teams to scope potential implementations and estimate resource requirements.
    • Contribute significantly to solution design decisions in collaboration with functional consultants.

    Client Engagement and Solutioning :


    • Manage client interactions from a technical perspective, focusing on gathering and translating functional requirements into technical specifications.
    • Actively participate in client projects to provide technical leadership throughout the implementation lifecycle.
    3.

    Technology Adoption and Innovation :


    • Stay abreast of the latest developments in PriceFX, including new accelerators and capabilities, and proactively implement these to enhance value for existing and new clients.
    • Drive effective maintenance of PriceFX solutions among clients, ensuring ongoing optimization (COSA).
    4.

    Team Development and Mentorship :


    • Mentor junior resources to nurture their technical and professional growth.
    • Champion the building of a bestinclass technical team, fostering collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
    5.

    Project Integration and Quality Assurance :


    • Ensure active participation and leadership in integration and testing phases of implementation projects.
    • Maintain high standards of quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle.
    Ideal Experience :

    Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering/Computer Science; Master's degree in Business Management is desirable.

    Experience : Minimum of 8 years of overall experience with at least 6 years in Pricing Software : PriceFX certification as Configuration Engineer or Solution Architect is desirable. Or any other equivalent Pricing softwares

    Technical Skills : Proficiency in Groovy programming language; strong understanding of pricing processes and workflows.

    Leadership Skills : Excellent team leader with a proven ability to build and lead technical teams effectively.

    Methodologies : Experience in Agile methodology and familiarity with PriceFX best practices.

    Communication : Strong communication skills to effectively manage client expectations and internal stakeholders.
