    Brief Overview of the JobDescription:

    The Head ofDepartment (HOD) Mathematics will play a pivotal role in guidingstudents and faculty towards academic excellence within theMathematics department aligning with a prestigious K12 institutionshigh standards in Hyderabad.

    KeyResponsibilities:

    • Develop and enhancethe Mathematics curriculum to ensure academic rigour andrelevance.
    • Cultivate positive relationshipswith students and parents to foster a conducive learningenvironment.
    • Implement innovative andinteractive teaching methods to engage studentseffectively.
    • Mentor and support faculty membersin professional development and pedagogicalstrategies.
    • Analyze student performance data toidentify trends and areas forimprovement.
    • Promote the integration oftechnology into Mathematics lessons for enhanced learningoutcomes.
    • Ensure quality control of educationalmaterials and resources used in thedepartment.
    • Lead and coordinateMathematicsrelated competitions and events within theschool.
    • Conduct regular department meetings tocollaborate on curriculum updates and bestpractices.
    • Uphold the institutions commitmentto child welfare and holisticdevelopment.

    Qualifications:

    Masters degree in Mathematics orrelated field.

    B.Ed.mandatory.

    1820 years of teaching experiencewith at least 35 years in a leadership or HODrole.

    Strategicplanning skills in the context of educationalleadership.

    Skills:

    Exceptional leadership and management abilities.

    Effective communication and mentoring skills.
