    Description

    Job Summary: Responsible for understanding the campaign requirement and converting the ideas seamlessly into layouts and variety of designs both in print and electronic media, keeping the target audience in mind

    Financial

    • Receive details of the assignment from the concerned internal stakeholders and understands the scope of the project, budget, target audience and media to be leveraged
    • Responsible for the creation of impactful design options to target Rainbow's internal and external audiences through print, digital media and other platforms in order to connect and attract relevant stakeholders
    • Ensure all design collaterals are cost-effectively designed and delivered to agreed standards and timelines from concept to fruition

    Operations

    • Develop concepts, graphics and layouts for product illustrations, campaigns, internal and external communications by determining size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, font style, size, color, theme etc.
    • Create multiple options/ collaterals for the ideas, based on an agreed brief to achieve high quality output in sync with the needs of the target audience.
    • Review rough drafts/ options with the requesting team and quickly incorporate changes recommended into the final design
    • Designs the quarterly magazine in an attractive and timely manner
    • Manage and keep the in–house image library up to date and have knowledge of the providers
    • Keep weekly back up of all relevant campaigns and designs

    People

    • Works with the concerned team with the design briefing, advising them on the design style, format, print production and timescales and helps them finalize the design
    • Closely coordinate with the marketing team to keep abreast of the overall positioning and branding strategy of Rainbow on a regular basis and develop all designs in alignment with the same.

    Customer

    • Network in the industry to maintain relationship and understand current market trends and best practices
    • Liaison with the printers and publishers etc. and follows-up for the banners, hoardings, advertisement publication as and when required
    • Any other portfolio that may be entrusted by the management from time to time.

    Educational Qualifications: B.Sc. – Computers/ Graphic Designing Course

    Work Experience

    • 6-8 years of relevant experience in the industry
    • Strong written communication skills
    • Understanding of human psychology and strong knowledge & understanding of current demands and trends in digital/social media
    • Ability to design various types of collaterals, campaigns, magazines etc.
    • Strong layout designing skills and ability to present concepts in innovative ways and a wide degree of creativity
