- Document all associated inquiries received from clients.
- Ensure that all new inquiries are assigned to proper project number.
- Obtain approval to bid or decline.
- Prepare cost estimate and propose a price for the project.
- Prepare technical proposals and submit to territory director.
- Prepare bid bond requirements.
- Coordinate with other departments within LIN SCAN during the bidding or prequalification stage.
- Coordinate with Finance department to prepare and develop the cost estimate for the project.
- Request Operations to conduct the site survey if appropriate.
- Update customer information and Corporate EMS: create enquiries timely; follow the sales flow chart while bidding for a job; transfer the project timely after LIN SCAN confirms the order to the client; updating the forecast by the end of each month; update the status of project regularly.
- Prepare cost estimate report.
- Provide all relevant or requested reports to Territory Director and sales manager.
- Submit the daily, weekly and monthly reports to Territory Director and sales manager.
- Ensure all the related communications associated with the new inquires is communicated to the Territory Director/ Higher Management.
- Ensure that all the tender documents are properly read and understood for the client requirements or the scope of service. Competency Requirements
- B. Tech (Mech, O&G), M. Tech (O&G) etc.
- MS office knowledge is must
- Further qualifications or extended course experience in commercial activities
- Language skills, particularly English, any other languages may be advantageous.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Good computer skills.
- Solid technical knowledge of ILI products and applicable industry standards
- Experience within the Oil and Gas sector (preferably) or service project-based companies.
- Minimum of 1year experience in commercial and technical tender preparations in Oil & Gas sector.
- Good Selling Capability.
- Knowledge of commercial aspects of organization
