    The Role – Manager – Business Development (Clean Energy)

    The Clean Energy Business Development Lead is responsible for helping Tata Projects make progress in its goal to be a major technology driven EPC player in the Clean Energy and associated projects in India. A highly motivated, and organized self-starter, who thrives in a goal-oriented business culture will have the opportunity to be a part of an exciting team that would be developing the Strategy for the Clean Energy Business, also and implement the same over the next few years.

    Location : Noida/ Mumbai

    Key Responsibilities:

    Customer Relationship management across India

    • customer relationship across all levels and leveraging the same for getting advance information about Clean Energy projects, and incorporating the same into short/medium/long term strategy for Clean Energy for Tata Projects
    • relationship with Senior Management across major players in the Oil & Gas, Fertilizer, Power and Renewable Energy sector , and developing close relationship with Corporate Strategy groups in the client business as also Plant Heads of operating plants will be a key aspect.

    Clean Energy Strategy Implementation

    Supporting, implementing, and reviewing segment strategy for the Clean Energy market in India, with an initial focus around Green H2 and Green NH3.

    Supporting Clean Energy Bids

    • up on tenders in the market, attending bid clarification meetings, providing meeting notes to management and escalating to leadership for support as needed in qualification of bids.
    • ordinating with the relevant businesses and providing support as needed in developing proposals for Clean Energy prospects

    Supporting Marketing and communications in Clean Energy

    Reinforcing Tata Projects' visibility in the Clean Energy segment by strengthening external market segment communication, in coordination with the Marketing Communication team and by participating in dedicated customer events and segment trade fairs.

    Internal Stake Holder Management

    Develop good working relation with Business Capture leads across the different business units of Tata Project and work closely with them in developing prospects.

    Qualification & Mandatory Requirements.

    1. Tech/BE in in Engineering, preferably in Chemical Engineering
    • have 5 to 10 years of experience in business Development, developing marketing & sales strategy with good exposure to the Oil and Gas, Fertilizer and Power sector. Exposure to RE and Clean Energy would be considered a plus.
    • for Business Development, having knowledge on Process Technologies applicable in the Clean Energy sector.
    • learning agility, strong thinking, and analytical skills. Ability to get up to speed with new processes/procedures and able to adapt readily to change.
    • interpersonal and relationship-building abilities with the capacity to work independently and in a team environment.
    • individual with strong decision-making skills, demonstrating a strategic and objective approach to challenges and opportunities
    • Demonstrated skills managing multiple priorities while maintaining poise in difficult situations.
