    Our Indian Operations Centre (INOPC) is a competence center with around 2000+ skilled engineers who focus on tendering, engineering, planning, procurement, functional system testing, installation supervision, and commissioning. Over the last decade, INOPC has evolved to become the largest engineering hub serving more than 40 countries across different energy sectors. The team caters to the four business units—Transformers, Grid Integration, Grid Automation, High Voltage and has successfully executed engineering and commissioning for projects in more than 80 countries.

    HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) and HVDC Light are highly efficient alternatives for transmitting bulk power and for special purpose applications. The classic HVDC technology is used to transmit electric power over long distances by overhead transmission lines or submarine cables. It is also used to interconnect separate power systems, where traditional alternating current (AC) connections cannot be used. HVDC Light is a power transmission technology developed by Hitachi Energy that offers additional benefits compared to HVDC Classic.

    Mission Statement:

    Valve Optics Engineer is responsible for all design and maintenance of optical and electronic components and fiber systems including fault tracing optoelectronics for HVDC valves. You will also be part of support to production, engineering, sites etc. and in failure investigations.

    Your Responsible:

    • You will be responsible to handle product requirements.
    • You will participate in fault investigations and in development projects & improve working processes.
    • You will be responsible for product lab testing for both qualifications and failure investigations & support assembly teams.
    • You will be understanding and design of electronics Specifying, testing and ensuring execution is according to current standards and customer specifications.
    • You will be review and analyze a variety of engineering data, Customer Specifications, documents & reports.

    Your Background:

    • A bachelor's degree in EEE or ECE or EIE or specialization/master's in Optics
    • You should have to 5 Years of experience in Fiber Optics design & related IEC/IEEE standards, electronics and its functional features and design.
    • Experience in handling optical measurement devices.
    • Strong technical interest and a will to work with mixed tasks, both practical and theoretical
    • Self-starter caliber who could own tasks through to completion.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Experiences aside, the most important aspect is your positive attitude. We are looking for candidates who are self-motivated and curious and thrive in a role where you can deepen your knowledge.
