    Job Overview

    Senior: 7 to 10 years of experience | Full-Time | Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Bachelor's degree in Textile Design or related field.
    • Proven 7 to 10 years of experience in home textile design, with a strong portfolio showcasing creative and commercially successful designs.
    • Proficiency in design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and CorelDRAW.
    • In-depth knowledge of home textile materials, construction techniques, and manufacturing processes.
    • Ability to interpret market trends and customer preferences and translate them into unique and appealing designs.
    • Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage a design team.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Attention to detail and a keen eye for color, texture, and pattern.
    • Knowledge of sustainable and eco-friendly design practices is a plus.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Lead the home textile design team and oversee the entire design process from concept to production.
    • Develop innovative and marketable designs for a range of home textile products, including bedding, bath linens, curtains, and decorative accessories.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, production, and marketing, to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products.
    • Stay updated with the latest design trends, materials, and technologies in the home textile industry.
    • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
    • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers, helping them develop their skills and creativity.
    • Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer preferences, competitor products, and emerging trends.
    • Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to source materials and ensure product quality and compliance.
    • Maintain accurate design documentation, including technical drawings, color specifications, and material samples.
    • Ensure that all designs adhere to company standards, brand guidelines, and customer requirements.
