    Your New Role

    The People & Culture Partner team is at the centre of the P&C function. People Partners are connected to business units (BU) and work closely with the Leaders and the business to understand the BU's business objectives and therefore define and execute the talent strategy in partnership with the COEs. This role will lead the People & Culture Partner function at Warner Bros. Discovery for a rapidly scaling Capability Centre in Hyderabad which hosts Global Business Services, Controllership, Technology and Operations, Security, IT & Infrastructure and multiple global shared service functions. The role holder will spearhead the P&C strategy to scale up the capability center, transition multiple global functions and build a strong culture based on WBDs guiding principles.

    The incumbent should bring thought leadership to practice and have high execution focus and most importantly be able to inspire an experienced and talented P&C Team. One should be comfortable to coach senior leaders in the business to be their trusted advisor as well as leverage resources/ COE support from the wider global WBD ecosystem and enjoy working in a diverse matrixed global environment.

    Your Role Accountabilities

    • Drive the People & Culture strategy to scale up the Hyderabad capability center across multiple functions
    • Attract & retain top talent, heavy lift and support Talent branding, Talent Acquisition and Onboarding efforts as we rapidly scale the team
    • Actively contribute to the business strategy; provide People & Culture expertise to balance the short term and the long-term objectives
    • Proactively partner with leaders in building a high-performance culture based on the ethos of One Team and WBD's Guiding Principles
    • Be embedded in the Global Capability Centre ecosystem at WBD as well as the local Hyderabad Capability center. Work in close collaboration with P&C Leads and business owners across global and local teams
    • Collaborate with COEs across Talent Management, Compensation & Benefits, Learning & OD, DEI and Employer branding to create programs and initiatives to improve employee engagement, morale and productivity
    • Serve as People & Culture advisor, coach and partner to global senior leadership team across multiple functions
    • Connect people, teams and organization to execute the P&C strategy. Find ways for Managers/ Senior leaders to create meaningful connections with each other and their teams
    • Create exceptional employee experiences through the employee lifecycle. Ensure our organization's treatment of employees is fair, respectful, and consistent with our business values and objectives
    • Use data to analyze casework trends to produce strategic, proactive recommendations to P&C and the Business to proactively address and mitigate systemic issues
    • Contribute on broader People & Culture projects across the APAC/ International
    • Partner with Legal, Comms, Finance and others in P&C, and Business on sensitive issues including employment relations
    • Lead & inspire a team of P&C partners and advisors to do their best work.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Ability to influence in a matrix environment by clearly charting and communicating the Hyderabad Capability Center strategy
    • Proven experience in conflict resolution practices and managing employee relations issues within a sophisticated matrixed environment
    • Be able to build collaborative relationships within People & Culture team internationally as well as business teams - combination of strong gravitas and humanity. Ability to persuade, negotiate and communicate effectively and independently
    • This individual must be self-motivated, should be able to deliver fast turnaround by influencing stakeholders, have the ability to move forward and progress in an ambiguous, complex, and constantly changing environment
    • 12+ years' experience working in agile fast paced environment. Previous experience in fast-growing capability center /technology company will be helpful.
    • Be operationally strong as well as hands on
